Something Extra

I did something a little silly. If you have purchased the PDF of this year or last year’s snowflake patterns, you might have noticed that there are silhouettes of the snowflakes in the background. I do this by tracing a photo of my sample snowflakes. This year I took that image and drew a sketch over it and added the snowflake names and then set it up for printing with Printify.

I did this mostly for myself and because I wanted to make a gift for someone, but I have also made it available to purchase if you would like your own snowflake mug. You can visit my Printify shop here: https://jessica-wifall.printify.me/. All the items are printed on demand so they are not made unless someone orders them.

I have made two version of the mug; this first is a 15oz white mug with a watercolor like rainbow background, below you can see my sample.

I made a few minor changes to the spacing in the design after seeing my actual sample, the mockup images below show the new spacing for any future prints.

I also made a black mug with white snowflakes. This sample I made for a gift, so my sample has the names of the snowflakes a little different, but any future prints will have the names as shown in the mockup below.

So, if you would like your own Contemplations snowflake mug, I have set the shop to have a 10% discount until December 13th. For full disclosure I receive between 20-40% of the item price (not including shipping) depending on the item and if I have a promotion running, the rest of item price is for materials and production.

I have the shop set up so that it should be available worldwide. If you are in the US, then delivery should be around 4-8 days. Internationally it will depend on where you are located in relation to the printer. If the printer is “local” then delivery will be 2-5 days, otherwise it will be anywhere from 10-30 days. It should give you a proper estimate prior to placing an order.

And Extra Extras

And because I was having fun with the drawing, I also made a repeating pattern with the snowflakes and leaves and little berries. The placement of the leaves is loosely based on Rebecca Flaherty’s Trailing Florals template. She has several great tutorials on designing seamless patterns.

I put this pattern on a pouch. I have ordered myself a sample but it won’t arrive until later this week. The pouch will hold my snowflake making supplies. (I will add images of the actual item when I get it.) I like the pattern I came up with so I may also get it printed on some quilting cotton if I can come up with a good enough reason to do so.

I had a lot of fun playing around with a different type of art, I hope you enjoy a little peak at this. Perhaps for the future I will occasionally make some more items to go along with bigger projects. Let me know if you have any special requests for item types that would be of more interest to you (mugs, hoodies, shirts, fabric, etc.).
