My Chasing Starlight Pattern is now available in Dutch and English with UK terms as well as the original English with US terms.
- Read more about the pattern in my original Blog Post
- Purchase the pattern on Ravelry
- Buy the pattern on Etsy
All future purchases of the Chasing Starlight pattern from my Ravelry and Etsy shops will include three PDF files of the pattern, US terms, UK terms, and Dutch.
If you have already purchased the pattern from Ravelry you will receive a notification of the update in your library.
If you previously purchased the pattern from Etsy and would prefer to have the pattern in Dutch or UK terms you may send me a message through Etsy requesting one of the other versions. Please use the Etsy account that you made the purchase from when sending the message so that I can easily see that you have already purchased the pattern.
Thank you Rineke for doing the Dutch translation. I have been slowly learning Dutch, but I donโt know enough yet to translate the pattern myself.

Warning about Scam Websites
Over the last few weeks, it has been brought to my attention that there is a website that is selling my Chasing Starlight Pattern, and my Beautiful Circles Pattern, without my permission. They apparently ran an ad on Facebook with my pattern in it. I was sent a screenshot of this because they blocked me before running the ad so I wouldnโt see it. The website is using my photos in these listings and has even copied over the reviews from my Etsy shop. Selling this pattern is an infringement of my copyright and is illegal.
A website was selling two of my patterns illegally. I reported the website for copyright infringement everywhere I could think of. Shockingly one of these appears to have actually worked and as of the moment I am writing this the website no longer has my patterns listed. Please wish me luck that it will stay this way. I am worried that this is temporary, and the patterns will be relisted illegally here or on another website. Unfortunately, this happens to designers a lot and it stinks.
In case you happen to come across one of my patterns somewhere unusual, please know that I only sell patterns through my own Ravelry and Etsy shops.
All free patterns should only be on my website or for a few older patterns published before I had a website, will be in my own Ravelry shop.
The only exception to this is commissioned patterns that are available from the company that commissioned them (i.e. patterns I made for Scheepjes). These should be very easy to spot; they will clearly list me as the designer, if they are making a social media post they usually tag me, I will have also shared this and mentioned/tagged them.
If you bought a pattern of mine anywhere else, it was probably a bad website. If you are not sure, feel free to send me a message and ask. I also wouldnโt trust my payment details with someone willing to lie and steal from others, so please consider protecting your information if you purchased through them.
It can be tough to spot bad sellers and websites. Generally, if itโs not clear who designed the pattern, do a little more research. A reverse image search on the photos often points you to the actual designer. This wonโt catch all bad websites, but it helps catch some.
