I have something very exciting to tell you!
Scheepjes has renamed the former “Our Tribe” yarn to “Unity”. At the same time, some of the colorways are being renamed for some of the newer Scheepjes Designer Collective members, our wonderful facebook moderators, and featured community members.
So now I have a Scheepjes Unity color way named “Jessica” for me! I feel incredibly honored.
There were many beautiful colors to pick from but when I was asked if any of them ‘speaks’ to me. This one, formerly named “Simy 2” was an easy choice. Not only is it a beautiful color way but at the time I was in the middle of designing a project that used it!
I really like Scheepjes unity yarn, it is soft, and the colors are just amazing. The variation in the color reminds me of watercolor, it’s fluid and always a little different. You can see all the colors and their new names here on the scheepjes website. They are all beautiful!
And here is a little sneak peak of my new pattern coming out Friday. The version shown here uses 6 different shades of Scheepjes Unity, 5 colors that have kept their names and “Jessica”.
